Online Gambling – BetStop the National Self-Exclusion Register

Exclude yourself from all licensed Australian online and phone gambling providers. Once registered, providers cannot open an account for you, accept your bets, or send you marketing messages. You can choose a self-exclusion period from three months to a lifetime. To register, you’ll need a mobile number, email address, and either a driver’s licence, Medicare card, or passport.

Gambling Help Queensland provides free and confidential counselling through community organisations across the state. Their qualified team offers face-to-face, video chat, and remote counselling, helps you ban yourself from gambling venues (self-exclusion), and connects people with additional support services like financial counselling. Gamblers Anonymous

Gamblers Anonymous is a self-help program where members support each other in their recovery from a gambling problem. Membership is free – the only requirement is a desire to stop gambling. Help for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

Gambling Help Queensland services offer culturally safe gambling support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. To book an appointment call 1800 858 858 or search for your nearest service

13 YARN (13 92 76) is a national crisis support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feeling overwhelmed or struggling to cope. It provides a confidential, one-on-one conversation with a Lifeline-trained Indigenous crisis supporter, available 24/7. 

National Debt Help Line

The National Debt Help Line 1800 007 007 can support you if you have financial difficulties because of your or someone else’s gambling.  Financial counsellors provide free, independent, and non-judgmental services to people in financial difficulties. 

Lifeline

Lifeline provides free, 24/7 confidential support at 13 11 14 for anyone feeling overwhelmed, struggling to cope, or needing help to stay safe. 

Kids Helpline

If you’re aged 12-25 and need to talk about gambling or any other concern, call the Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800. It’s free, available 24/7, and you can stay anonymous.
