Carol Eapen

Carol practised as a Chartered Accountant, based in London and Singapore, for 26 years but when she and her family moved to Australia in 2003 she decided to move into the Community Sector.  Initially Carol worked as a volunteer FC for Lifeline and this became a paid position in 2009. When UCC lost its funding she moved to the Salvos where she has happily remained ever since. Carol has volunteered on the Management Committee of FCAQ in various capacities over the years – Treasurer, Membership Secretary and most recently Vice-Chair. This has enabled her to help set the strategy for the sector at both State and National level, through the FCA Representative Council. Outside of Financial Counselling, Carol is an avid traveller, hiker, reader and thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, especially her four very young granddaughters.
